Great place to stop and grab a pre rolly or 3. The atmosphere is great and the overall vibe is fantastic. The prices are great also 15$ for a infused pre roll and 35$ for a 1 gram dab cart can't really beat that. Also the customer service is spot on very educated staff.

Always enjoy shopping and visiting with the Down to the Roots folk's in Chester, VT. They have daily specials and many different discounts for Seniors, Vets, etc. Beautiful building, well maintained, inside and out. The staff and the owners are super kind and knowledgeable, always taking time to answer any questions. Product is always fresh the quality and variety are right on! Visiting vendors, live music and food trucks are there for special events and makes for a great time! Highly recommended.

Super over priced low quality flower. Website is misleading as to which pictures go with which flowers. Designed for tourists, not locals. Very disappointing. The same flower is much cheaper at other dispensaries.

Down to the Roots is situated in a beautiful building inspired by rural Vermont architecture. Inside you will find welcoming and educated staff members to assist with your needs or questions. There are a wide variety of products and accessories available and a menu listing the THC products in stock. Pricing is reasonable. There are discounts for medical card holders, seniors and another category which escapes my mind. I visited during a promotion where a well-known celebrity was promoting his product line. There were discounts offered on those items. Worth the stop whether you indulge or are merely curious.

Dont come here the weed i bought was very weak every time i tryed it, stems on the bud, only breakd up into cruddy little slivers of split ends that wont even burn i like the strawberry cookie diesel but that was it alot of their stuff here is just too weak pretty buds but not verry good effects unless you know what you want ive had stuff better that was only commercial very dissapointing and i dont think these peope are intge business to bring you up just get you down

Great vibe at DTR. Very friendly staff whose passion and knowledge about cannabis is evident. Better product curation than I see in most other dispensaries around the state, select assortment rather than everything at the wall. 100% worth the detour if you find yourself near Chester.

Being disabled, with a lot of issues with pain and sleep, I've visited many dispensaries looking for help and relief. But I've rarely found much of either. Down to the Roots has been one of the few if not only places with a wonderful atmosphere, outstanding management and friendly and knowledgeable staff that have gone out of their way to help me out. I deal with a lot of nerve pain, which is incredibly hard to treat with conventional medicine. The last time I was there, one of the women working was talking to me about what she uses for similar issues, and helped me pick some stuff out. I can tell you, without exaggerating, that that conversation has been life changing. I got a simple pot of topical cream with THC, to try on my legs to help me sleep. The neuropathy keeps me from sleeping, at all, almost every night. I've been miserable and barely functioning because of it. This cream has quieted my legs enough that I can actually sleep! No opioids. No smoking. No highs. No handfuls of other prescription pain relievers. Just a simple pot of cream, and it's absolutely changed my life for the better. I still have pain issues, as it's not a 100% fix, but I went from having issues sleeping every single night, to now maybe once every 2 weeks? These folks have helped me solve a serious problem that numerous doctors have been unable to help with, for that alone this place is 5 stars and then some.
