Why I was there: I called at 1pm re: mjrx card. The guy told me no appointment wld be necc, to show up by 3pm. Well, I did my best to be there by 3pm but it didn't happen. I got there abt 330p. So, I went in, hoping they'd help plus I wanted to see what they have, what the vibe was like. I asked if I cld still get the ppwk endorsed. At that time, I was the only customer to abt 6-8 employees (from what I could see). Since it was dead as a doornail w/employees tripping over themselves, I was kind of hoping they'd make an exception but it didn't happen. It's not really their fault nor do they owe me anything, but, compassion IS a part of cust service. If a cut off time isn't a posted rule & merely a personal preference, as a brand new customer, less than a half hour behind- in addition to it being slow, I would've helped that person knowing they really did try to get there by 3p. Again, that's just me. When we do make those small, selfless exceptions for people living w/ disabilities, we on the receiving end are honestly grateful for that kindness. Then, you in return have a loyal customer for life. Word of mouth is the best (or worst) form of advertisement. Abt the store: I really like the vibe in there. All employees smiling with happy, positive banter. Also, anytime, there's a shop dog you're already winning! Fed treats to a cute pitty mix, then a door opened up from behind the counter & a cute b&w boston popped out. I ❤️ dog ppl. We're usually a good judge of character. I asked the person helping me her name, but I'm not 100% sure what it was. I think it was Brandi? idk 🤷🏼♀️ She was SO awesome. She truly had no problem explaining different things to me. I explained to her why I stopped smoking in the mid 80s and what I did or didn't like about it. I wanted edibles, so she showed me the things that she liked and also things that she thought would be a good fit for me after telling her what I tried and didn't really care for and why. I appreciated the fact that she was very professional. I really am such a novice and feel like a duck out of water in any dispensary. Due to having Lupus SLE, PTSD, ADHD, arthritis, degenerative disc disease, bulging/slipped discs and fibromyalga to name a few, I really just want to use products for pain, anxiety and uninterrupted sleep. Per her and the product instructions I started out with half of a gummy. It didn't do anything. Then, the next day, I took a whole one and that was almost too much... I'm not gonna give you all the details, but it just was a bit overwhelming for me. I did take a heck of an hour power nap!!! Thank you for your help girl. You were wonderful! I'll be back again to find more things to experiment with. Bottom line: I appreciate the professionalism and knowledge. Product I chose: Gummies Lush Maui Edibles 🍬 Pineapple 2:1:1 (DOHC) EA: 10mg THC / 5mg CBC / 5mg CBG
