I have been a loyal customer at STIIIZY Alameda for over three years, frequently buying in bulk (typically six or more cartridges at a time). Up until now, my experiences have been fantastic. The floor employees are consistently sweet, welcoming, and incredibly nice, and I have never had an issue exchanging a faulty product in the past.Unfortunately, my recent experience with the manager, Jared, was deeply disappointing and marks a massive drop in customer service standards.I brought in a defective cartridge that simply did not work. Jared took the cartridge to the back to test it, returned, looked me in the eye, and admitted, "Yes, it doesn't work." Yet, despite confirming the product was a manufacturer defect, he refused to issue an exchange because it was past the 7-day return window. While I understand return policies exist, they need to be applied with common sense for bulk buyers. When a customer purchases six cartridges at once, it is completely unrealistic to expect them to test and use all six within a single week. To acknowledge that a product is completely broken but still force a 3-year loyal customer to take the financial loss is horrible customer service.I love the staff here, but management's rigid and unfair handling of a proven defective product has left me incredibly disappointed. I will be reconsidering where I buy my bulk orders moving forward.
