Not your average dispensary. Just wanted to shout out the budtender working today July 12th 2026- she was on her game and went out of her way to make me feel comfortable after a kind of confusing checkout situation. There were pre-orders, walk ins, no clear order for the line, her receipt printer ran out halfway through, she got a radio call, it was impressive. TBH one person shouldn't be handling all that, yall should take a page out of Chick fil-a's book w the pre-order and in person ordering being separate - just my 2 cents. Love this place, best tree in town.

Higher Collective Hamden is a solid store. All of the bud tenders have always been helpful. They might not have the widest selection in the area but what they have is solid and sold at a fair price. Def recommend if in the area.

Went to pick up order and received and Free promotional .3 mg vape. Got home and promo pen not working. Went back again on 4/20 and purched 2 of the same (joker 1gm) vape pens. Both don't work correctly. Same problem. Low voltage won't hold charge, doesn't allow you to use. Only went out to that store because of 420 and they were running sale that day I got promotional text to my phone. I had no problem with the first promotional pen not working, but when I purchase two individual pens it's a different story. I have contacted store I hope to hear back from them. Keep you guys posted..... It has been 3 weeks sense original post. But happy to say store did step in and say they would take care of the problem....thx collective....

I'm not one to usually write reviews, but I have to give this place a solid 5 stars. Upon entering, I was greeted with a smile and immediately felt welcomed by the front desk attendant. The budtender was also very nice and friendly! I felt at ease by their genuine warmth and kind disposition. They also have such a wide array of products! I will definitely be back!

I'm pretty new to the scene around here and was on the hunt for a solid dispensary. Gave Higher Collective a shot for the first time today, but man, it'll definitely be my last. Straight up, I would not recommend this spot to anyone, save yourself the hassle. Placed my order online, got the confirmation, and even a heads-up that it was ready for pickup. Cool, right? Drove over there after work, only to be told the item was priced incorrectly on their site. They hit me with, "Do you still want it? We can't honor the online price." When I asked why they didn't cancel the order or shoot me a quick call/text about the mix up, the counter staff just shrugged and said they're understaffed. Thing is, they had a solid 5 hours to sort it out before I showed up. Total bummer, and what a waste of time hauling over there for nothing. If you're looking for a reliable place, I'd steer clear of Higher Collective.

Lina and Kitty are hands down the BEST part of this dispensary. Every single time I come in, they make the experience feel welcoming, fun, and completely stress-free. They’re both incredibly knowledgeable and actually take the time to listen to what you’re looking for instead of just rushing you through a sale. Lina is amazing at breaking things down and helping you find exactly what fits your vibe, whether you’re looking to relax, get creative, or just unwind after a long day. And Kitty? An absolute sweetheart. She brings the best energy, makes you feel comfortable instantly, and somehow always recommends the perfect product.

Out of all the dispensaries in CT, higher collective is by far the better ones. Good flower, well packed pre rolls unlike other places. Quality is good, just gotta know the brands. Staff is friendly and quick!

I originally came in to pick up an order for Uber and I was curious about it. The person that greeted me that day ended up, convincing me to join, especially the fact that there’s a discount for healthcare workers, which was a first for me. I love the atmosphere, the clerk who helped me inside, gave me the cutest stickers, and I will definitely be continuing to come here !

I LOVE this shop. The staff is filled with the greatest bud tenders I’ve found!! Feel free to ask all your questions. Their knowledge of the vast array of products is incredible. The sign board with today’s specials allows you to look over the offerings while you wait.
