Now I am not one to post poor reviews, however, my most recent experience with the so-called Manager "Alec" was absolutely unacceptable and crossed the line. To preface, I have been coming here for years - ever since they first opened up. They used to be the one dispensary that felt very "mom-and-pop" unlike the big competitors like Trulieve and Curaleaf nearby. That all changes now!🤬 Alec was beyond rude and disrespectful and I can't believe this company would allow someone like this to be in a management position. From the very first moment of me walking in I was greeted with attitude. I am used to Eddie and the other girl saying a friendly "Good Afternoon" but all I got from Alec this time around was "what do you want" in an unprofessional manner. I brush it off at first because maybe he was just having a bad day, but nope, the attitude and disrespect continued. I simply came to purchase my usual, 1x 3.5g flower. Instead of a speedy transaction, he has the nerve to say that I would be "stupid" if I didn't purchase the bundle deal. Are you kidding me?? What is this language and who are you to say what I am to do with my hard earned money. I politely decline and get met with a scoff. How professional Alec. After him chuckling as he is cashing me out I grab my flower and leave. I used to be a loyal customer shopping here for years, can't believe this is what I get met with, especially after a rough day at work. This ruined my day as this used to be my escape from work, grabbing a flower to end the day and looking forward to a quick, yet friendly interaction. Not this time around. I will be telling my wife, and all of her friends to stay away! We will gladly take all of our business elsewhere - somewhere where we get treated with respect!

Alex at Sanctuary has been absolutely incredible. He is extremely knowledgeable, takes the time to listen, and always guides me in the right direction based on my needs. He explains everything clearly, including what products may be helpful and how to use them responsibly, which gives me a lot of confidence in my decisions. What really stands out is his kindness, patience, and genuine desire to help. I never feel rushed or pressured—just supported and cared for. Great customer service is hard to find these days, and Alex consistently goes above and beyond. I am truly grateful for all of his guidance and highly recommend asking for him if you visit Sanctuary. Thank you, Alex, for always making my experience such a positive one!

Among the staff, there's one who seems to be the manager—he has a thick beard and is quite heavyset—who doesn't seem to like serving certain customers. I was there at a time when there was hardly anyone around, and when I asked him a simple question about a product, he replied that he didn't know, that he wasn't a doctor. Which is obvious, because if he were, he wouldn't be working as a clerk giving terrible answers to customers. That's how they lose out. I always go for the deals, but also for the service. I have another pharmacy closer to home, and I'll think twice before going back to that place to receive rude answers and obvious contempt from their manager or bearded clerk who isn't a doctor. If he doesn't like dealing with certain types of customers, he should hide. Or he should study more so that if he doesn't become a doctor, at least he'll be more courteous and polite in his responses.

Alek is one the nicest around!! Incredibly informative, and truly understands the medicinal purposes this plant is supposed to provide for its patients. Ivan and Eddy as well, have always been stellar. My every trip is nothing but the best. I always recommend this location to everyone I know

I had a very disappointing experience at Sanctuary Miami because of my interaction with Alek. He came across as extremely rude and had an attitude from the moment we spoke. During our interaction, he raised his voice, which made me feel very uncomfortable as a customer. I asked if he could do me a small favor by letting me use my points toward my purchase, but he refused. What really surprised me was when he told me not to “mess with his raise,” which I found to be unprofessional and inappropriate. Before Alek started working there, I always had great experiences, especially when Eddy helped me. Eddy was always friendly, helpful, and made me want to come back. Since Alek has been there, my experiences have gone downhill. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I don’t plan on returning, and I’ll be recommending that my friends shop elsewhere instead. I hope management takes customer service more seriously because one bad employee can ruin an otherwise great business.

Quite disappointed about my last visit at sanctuary today. I had the unfortunate luck of getting a newer employee named Amanda. I'm all for rule enforcement however interjecting yourself in a private conversation between sisters that are making separate purchases as individual patients isn't smart nor proper customer service. I would understand if I was telling her to buy something or vice versa but ma'am learn the difference and it's important to know the proper time to enforce rules. When you are wrong you are wrong. As I mentioned before I left when corporate hears your dialogue perhaps I may have been rude back but only after you overstepped. Now if your wrong you could be unemployed. Happy Sunday thanks for making my purchase very awkward especially when I was bringing my sister in for the first time after a long time and spoke nothing but great things about the products.

Rude, ignorant clerks who don't have your order ready, and try to sell you what they are trying to get rid of. The worst dispensary in Miami
