  I’ve done management for over 20 years and currently run my own business. Susan is the kind of employee you always hope to find. She’s knowledgeable in the product, very personable, genuinely nice, not forced and seems eager to please. If she isn’t in management, I’d strongly suggest promoting her. I’ll ask for her every time I walk in the door.

  I had an extremely disappointing experience at Terrabis, and I feel this situation needs to be addressed by management. I want to first say that Susan was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, polite, patient, and genuinely trying to do a good job. Unfortunately, she appeared to be new and was not being properly supervised. While she was helping us, she made a mistake, and the woman wearing a hat next to her who was supposedly there to help or supervise her spoke to her in an extremely rude and disrespectful manner. The way she spoke to Susan was completely inappropriate, especially in front of customers. There was also a gentleman there who correctly pointed out that the situation was not Susan’s fault and that a lead or supervisor should have been properly supervising and assisting her. Instead, Susan was embarrassed in front of us for making a mistake as a new employee who clearly was not receiving the support she needed. No employee deserves to be treated that way, especially in front of customers. The situation became even more frustrating when we were purchasing flower. We specifically asked about the package date because, personally, we prefer products packaged within the last three months. The first product we were shown was older, so we asked if we could see another option. The second product also had a package date of November 2025, which was not acceptable to me personally. I then attempted to ask about another option and was met with an extremely rude and dismissive comment from the same woman who had been disrespectful toward Susan. She essentially told me, in a very nonchalant and rude manner, that they were closing in one minute and that we could not go look for a better package date—in other words, take the older product or get your money back. I was also told, essentially , that the product could still be sold because it had not expired. That may be the store’s policy, but whether a product is technically within its expiration date does not mean every customer is required to accept it. Customers have the right to make their own choices about the products they purchase, especially when it comes to products that people may rely on for medical needs. I personally do not want flower with a package date from December 2025, and I should not be treated rudely or pressured simply because I asked to see a fresher option. The way this entire situation was handled was completely unacceptable. The treatment of Susan was disrespectful and embarrassing, and the way I was spoken to as a customer was equally unacceptable. Management should seriously look into how customers and new employees are being treated at this location. The only reason I would consider returning to Terrabis would be if Susan was my budtender. She was polite, kind, and did an amazing job despite being put in an uncomfortable situation without the proper support. She deserves recognition for how she handled herself. Susan was the only positive part of this experience. The treatment of her and the way I was treated as a customer need to be addressed.
