Since my partner and I moved to the area we’ve been purchasing from this dispensary. Although we prefer the customer service, the freshness & taste of the bud, and of course the prices - my partner had a great interaction the first time and saw they had reasonably priced bud. I would say he buys from here at least once a week. His license recently expired and he asked me to go in for him as well as I had my own purchase to make. We do not share bud - we consume separately because we do not smoke the same. As soon as I got to the counter I told the budtender that I was placing two separate orders and gave her my order. She did not contest or object. What she did do was tell me that the strain I wanted was not available in a half ounce and that she had two 7s available. I explained to her that I was looking to get one of the $53 or $55 dollar ounces that are on sale via what I saw on the website as well as showed her the product page. She acted oblivious, as if she had no idea what I was talking about or what was going on even with me showing her the website. The type of customer service I am used to at a dispensary (Michigan) they will go out of their way to help you find the best deal/s as they are customer centered. This budtender was not helpful at all. Between the two strains she said she had left for the half ounces, I chose Modified Macberry Moonshine. And as you see from the screenshot it reads $55. And then my partner wanted me to get the Triangle Kush in an ounce, which you can see in the screenshot is $100. She proceeds to tell me the total is $246. My partner gave me $140 as they stated they’ve purchased a $100 ounce before and with taxes they pay about $125 so the change I would use to get him backwoods from next door. That would mean we were charged $91…NINETY-ONE DOLLARS in taxes. Now when she told me the total, I reminded her that I was doing two separate orders. She tells me that I can only do one order with one discount...interesting 🧐that’s never been my experience before. The sale is usually running all day for that brand. And it shouldn’t matter if I’m making two separate orders or not. She seemed very adamantly aggressive on this when I questioned how this total came to be. As you can see from the receipt $212-$85 is NOT $100 and $118-$47 is NOT $55. If there’s something I’m missing between what’s advertised on the website and what I’m going to pay in person, I would love for a manager or the owner to clarify! I feel like I was seriously overcharged and would love to be reimbursed for that.

Jason not only made me feel welcome, but his calm, efficient, and professional demeanor made me feel appreciated and comfortable in my surroundings. The aura, atmosphere, and ambience of the shop was perfect, and the smells, cleanliness, and organization makes Starbuds the best dispensary I’ve ever walked into. Thank you Jason!

Went for my first time today due to a mailer they sent out. It was a stellar experience. The place was clean and well-stocked and they had a great selection to choose from. Joshua was super welcoming and informative--an absolute customer service rockstar! The gentleman at the check-in was super cool, too. I'll definitely go back and would highly recommend it to anyone who's never been. Many thanks to the crew over there!
