  I have been a customer of RISE since 2019, back when it was LEAFLINE. After what happened during my recent visit—and, more importantly, how RISE management handled it—I no longer feel safe returning. At approximately 1:45 p.m., I was standing in the reception area when a man handed the employee at the front desk, Jackson, his ID. Without saying anything beforehand, the man became extremely angry when Jackson placed the ID on the scanner and began screaming at him. I calmly stated that Jackson had no way of knowing the ID wasn’t supposed to be scanned and didn’t deserve to be screamed at for doing his job. The man immediately turned on me. He repeatedly screamed at me to KILL MYSELF and HANG MYSELF. He got directly into my personal space, putting his face and hands extremely close to me. I felt threatened and intimidated. RISE staff removed him from the building and spoke with him outside. Then, unbelievably, THEY LET HIM BACK IN. After witnessing this man verbally accost an employee and a female customer, RISE made the decision to bring him back into the building. He was allowed to return to the same area and stand DIRECTLY BEHIND ME IN LINE. That is unacceptable. At that point, RISE knew exactly what had just occurred. This wasn’t a situation they were unaware of. Staff had witnessed enough of his behavior to take him outside—and then someone made the decision to allow him right back in while I was still there. Why was I not separated from him? Why was I expected to stand there with the man who had just screamed at me to kill myself directly behind me? Why wasn’t my safety taken seriously? I was afraid walking to my car. I was worried he might follow me. And now I have to wonder whether I could encounter this person again if I return. I spoke with the AGM, and the GM was reportedly in the building at the time. Despite being a customer since 2019 and reporting that I felt unsafe, I received NO FOLLOW-UP from management in the days afterward. No phone call. No explanation. No reassurance about what would be done to prevent this from happening again. If this individual needed to complete a transaction, there were countless ways RISE could have handled that without putting him back into the same space as the woman he had just verbally attacked and intimidated. What happened to me was disturbing. But what has stayed with me is RISE’s response. When given the opportunity to prioritize the safety and well-being of a customer, RISE allowed the person who had just threatened and intimidated me back inside and directly behind me. As a woman, that is alarming. After seven years as a customer, I expected better judgment, accountability, and basic concern for my safety. Instead, I left feeling that completing this man’s transaction mattered more than making sure I was safe. RISE needs to seriously examine how situations like this are handled, because no customer should ever be put back into close proximity with someone who has just behaved this way toward them. I shouldn’t have had to leave wondering whether he was going to follow me to my car or follow me home. I shouldn’t still be wondering whether I’ll encounter him there again. And I shouldn’t have had to write a Google review just to get acknowledgment of something this serious.

  Been my main dispensary for awhile and I honestly have really enjoyed my experience overall. Isaiah, Andy, and I can’t remember his name but usually have a black backwards hat are awesome. Overall my experience has great, easy wait times— usually none if I pre order. Had one issue where they double charged me but when I went in they made it easy to handle.

  I always feel comfortable picking up my medication, Andy is always super welcoming and very knowledgeable. Product is always great as well. It looks like my last review got deleted - Romeo is also always very friendly and helpful every time.

  Every bud tender is amazing, but Andy was definitely a standout. We talked about gardening and he was very engaging and sweet. This dispensary is so LGBTQIA friendly is one of the reasons that I frequent this dispensary. When I found out, you donate to the Pink Fund, I was immediately sold. That agency helped me the most during my cancer treatments So both of those things means I’m a dedicated customer!

  Placed an order for delivery using the website. Got a call at 5:15pm confirming my information and that my order was being prepared. 30 minutes later I’m told that my order is being cancelled because it’s outside the delivery window. I told the guy I entered my full address and Eagan was the location that said delivery was available so I made the order. He said he would need to refuse and cancel the order or make it available for pickup. Why roll out the delivery option and get me so far in the process just to be let down? I usually visit the St. Paul location but now I’d rather just go to Green Goods. I want contact by management.
