    Very disappointing experience, especially considering I’ve supported this cigar shop since they originally opened and have purchased a significant amount of high-end cigars from them over the years. I recently needed a new cigar lighter and asked the staff for a recommendation. I was directed to this particular lighter and told it was one of the better ones they carried. I specifically asked if it had a strong flame because that was important to me. Almost immediately after getting it home, the lighter started losing flame strength. I brought it back to the store and simply asked if something needed to be adjusted or turned up. While looking at it, the employee pointed to a piece on the bottom and asked why it was coming off. I explained that it was exactly that way when I purchased it from them. They turned the lighter all the way up, but the flame was still extremely weak. When I questioned it, I was basically told, “That’s as strong as it goes.” That made no sense to me, especially after I had specifically asked about the strength of the flame before purchasing it. Then I was told maybe it just needed more butane and that it would have a stronger flame once I filled it at home. Since I was already standing there, I asked if they could put a small amount of butane in it so we could test it before I left. They refused and said they haven’t been allowed to fill lighters for customers for several months. What makes that confusing is that I’ve purchased lighters from this store before and they have filled them for me. But the most disappointing part wasn’t even the lighter — it was the attitude. When I asked when the owners would be in, I was told Friday. One gentleman made it clear that he was “just a worker” and essentially that he really didn’t care. That is extremely disappointing to hear as someone who has supported this business since it opened and has purchased a substantial amount of high-end cigars from them. I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable. I wasn’t demanding my money back or trying to cause an issue. I brought back a lighter that wasn’t performing properly and asked for basic help determining whether it was defective, needed an adjustment, or simply needed more butane. When someone has been a loyal customer and has spent serious money supporting your business, they shouldn’t walk out feeling like the employees couldn’t care less whether they come back. Unfortunately, that’s exactly how I felt leaving.

    Came for a cigar and screens. People were very friendly and the gentleman who helped me with the cigars seemed to be extremely knowledgeable. Will definitely return.
