  They stated that medical patients would get cheaper prices... I have only found this to be true if they have a deal running. Only if you purchase certain brands. Then you find the same brands at rec. Dispensaries for cheaper prices already including the tax. Never any consistency. And at this moment only offer 3 options for flower. THANKS FOR HAVING OUR BACKS.....SHOULD BE ASHAMED ALL ABOUT THE MONEY.

  The staff is lovely and the store is clean, but the selection is super slim. The deals are None .I’d rather drive to Syracuse, (which is doubled the drive time) This is sad. I was so hopeful but really doesn’t have anything to speak of that you couldn’t get from just a regular Dispensary. Clearly, if you’re using Medical marijuana, there might be some limitations to your finance or your abilities. The need would be greater than just for recreation, but deals are non existing or minimum at best. Curaleaf is always running sales and a lot more a lot more product to choose from.

  The selection here is terrible. Prices are unreasonable. Id rather drive to syracuse once a week than buy any of these products. As the only medical pharmacy in broome county, let's do better. If I can drive to syracuse and get a 2 g cartridge ~45 at a medical dispensary with many different flavor options, we need to step it up. Selling .5 to our patients in this community is just unjust.

  I just got my med certificate to get thus medication from this place and I see the reviews about the price but I looked at it's products that's offered and the price was to high as I seen in previous comments but 85% thc for 50 a g do you understand that your gonna smoke that and it's gonna show you God like do your research and study the cannibal information and the %s and trust me the price is cheap I paid for 1 g of thc a from hemp geek and it was $78 and nothing so when I come back I will update about my personal experience

  Love these people, since many years ago I have felt like part of the vireo health, in johnson city, family. Mainly this was due to the friendly professional and quite knowledgeable staff. I recently had back surgery, spinal fusion c-3 to s-1. Due to an amazing surgeon, doctors, and medical staff I’m moving forward. Fortunately, both the doctors I go to and pain management specialist, not to mention the staff at Vireo Heath (jc), they have eliminated any stereotypes one may worry about after being encouraged and prescribed medical marijuana. Yes sometime if you are not watching their regular sales it can get a little pricey. But, the A++++ rank and the quality drastically outweighs the cost and to even compare medical grade marijuana to hemp cigarettes, I’m not sure you’ve actually been to vireo. Also, with doctors support and all those at vireo heath, I have eliminated the following using medical marijuana, taking Oxycodone, hydrocodone, cyclbezadrine, flexeral, meloxicam, cymbalta. Medical marijuana has be a blessing for me and with the encouragement of my doctors, and the staff and my vireo health at johnson city, family I hope to keep moving foreword, as slow as I may be sometimes. In short could never thank you guys and girls enough for all your help. Bruce

  I have enjoyed my experience here. All staff are well versed and helpful in any choices needed to use any of the products to suit your personal needs. Orders are always ready. Staff super friendly. I highly recommend using this facility in your journey to living a full and less painful life!

  So here's the deal. In the past I have drove past Johnson City Vireo and REALLY wished I had a med card. Especially when weed was illegal in NY! I figured they probably had fresh (maybe a little overpriced) bud that would hit different. After getting my med card, I had to try the place out. The bud there certainly hits different for all the wrong reasons. I got a quarter oz of peanut butter cookies, and 2 higher end eighths from matter. The peanut butter cookies were middle school weed. We're talk'n dry buds, no smell except maybe fall leaves, and a minimal high imo. The stuff even would give ya a headache! The matter eighths were not much to write home about either. Super dry with just a hint of terpenes hanging on for dear life. Staff was super nice and people say they have good edibles. All I know from my experience, is that I won't be coming back, and that they need fresh weed from better suppliers.

  Every time I go there , it’s a Spanish girl that works there … I think she has glasses. So nasty and don’t know how to speak to anyone. I refused to renew my medical card because vireo is the only place I get my medical cannabis from and every time I see her she got a attitude. I stopped going there.

  The staff was very nice and friendly. The store was clean and well taken care of. I have no problem with the people who are just doing their jobs. But the way it's run and how tight security is makes me feel like they really don't want business. I had to be buzzed in, show them my MMJ card, fill out a couple forms, and sit in a very big, but very empty waiting area. All to be taken to a computer and shown their website and left there. Really? I could do that at home! In fact, I did look at their website before I went. I wasn't impressed with the items shown on the website and thought, "Well surely the good stuff at the shop." Nope. What you see on the website is what you get. They expect this stuff to work for medical users? No way! A 10 pack of 10mg THC each for like $40. I can go to Hemp Geek in Vestal and buy a package of 25 of the same dose for nearly half the price. I can buy a 50 pack of 50mg for $50 if I buy the HC8s from Hemp Geek. So why are they expecting me to pay premium prices for less product? And I'm not even allowed to look at it. At Hemp Geek all the products are laid out in front of you. At Vireo they safeguard it like it's the Queen's crown jewels. Ultimately disappointing and overly expensive. I'll be buying from Hemp Geek, because they're cheaper, better quality, and I actually feel welcome. 🤷🏻‍♀️
