A little background: my husband has had chronic sleep issues for the past six weeks. Even after doctor visits and meds, nothing worked. A friend suggested gummies from the Flowery on the Upper West Side. They were great! Extremely helpful, very nice, very professional. They made two suggestions. I bought both. Success - he got to sleep! I went back a couple times for more. Last Saturday, they were out of stock of the more effective of the two products, so I bought two of the other. I looked online to see if inventory had been replenished. It was still out of stock of the preferred product but was available at the Soho location. I ordered two immediately. I got a confirmation email, followed by another with the order #. Then a 3rd email to say my order was ready to be picked up. My husband also got a text, saying the order was ready to be picked up. And yeah, I have "the receipts" to prove it. I went to the store, told the young woman behind the counter I was there to pick up an order, tried to show her the order number. She said she didn't need to see it. I gave her my name, she gave me a joint in a bag. Huh? I told her that isn't my order and tell her specifically what I'm there for. I tried to show her the order number again. She didn't look. Instead, she talks to the guy in the back, presumably filling the orders. She says it isn't in stock. Wait, what?!? I told her I ordered it online, got an email confirming the order and another telling me it's ready. She suggests something else with hash, which I declined. That's not what I was there for. She says she's very sorry. I/we live in NJ. I work on the UWS. Soho is the complete opposite direction. I left an hour early to pick this up for him. The store may be great for product but this online experience was awful. To make matters worse, we had $5 off coupon, which I applied to this order, that is now gone. Before writing this review, I thought I'd reach out to customer service to explain the situation and see what they have to say and/or what they could do. I called at 2:17pm and spoke to Daniel, who was very apologetic. I explained everything in detail. He said he would call the store, do some investigating and get back to me within an hour. It is now nearly 9:30pm - seven+ hours later and Daniel still has not called me back. I am a Local Guide for Google. I pride myself in writing comprehensive, thorough reviews. Only a few have been less than stellar. My contributions have over 97k views. This is one of those less than stellar reviews. To say I'm displeased is an understatement. If I could rate them zero stars for this incredibly unprofessional experience, I would. Online buyers should absolutely beware.
