I was excited to realize we had a dispensary in the town I lived in. I walked in and told the man working exactly what I was looking for. The guy told me "This isn't a Starbucks". I'm sorry, but that is really quite insulting to me. I am not a snob in any way, shape, or form. I just knew what I wanted and asked if they had something there with in the parameters of what I was looking for/used to. I picked some random item and not only was it expired, the quality was abysmal. The man said "Excellent choice!" I wouldn't go back there even if I was absolutely desperate. I would rather drive to Middlebury because of the excellent service and knowledgeable staff. I won't be returning.

I would like to take the time to reflect on the place with my honest opinion in hopes that you can take it as constructive feedback. I'm honestly a little bit frustrated by the fact that I stopped by on my lunch break and there was a sign saying something along the lines of "we're opening around noon but will stay open until 6 to make it up to you guys" (no big deal at all) only I came back after work (about 5:20 p.m.) and the door was locked and the sign taken down. I understand that shit kind of just happens from time to time and it's likely nothing in your control, but I would've appreciated maybe another sign explaining things? It's just that I work 9-5 most days and my only chance to catch you is on my lunch breaks and I didn't think what happened today was all that fair. Thank you for taking your time to read my message!

Only open for 6 hours. High prices, deals suck. Drive 20 minutes to Middlebury get an Oz for 200. Better price quality hours and customer service. Updated July 25. read their responses. You assume too much. You'd know low quality outdoor wouldn't ya? I've spent hundreds at your place. You are the reason I won't go back. Unprofessional as hell.

Best dispensary in the state! I've been twice now a year apart and after trying almost every store from Bristol to Burlington, they have the nicest people selling the highest quality products. The smal town feel makes all the difference.

Stopped in yesterday after riding sugarbush all day. Had a great experience with I assume to be the owner that was more than happy to show a lot of different strains. Most shops you’ll go to just have younger employees and no one with any true knowledge of cannabis. I’m a connoisseur so I appreciate it when someone takes time to break down the different strains and tells you crosses etc. He was passionate about his craft and it was easy to tell. Met a local inside that was as kind and cool as could be. She was a blessing. Definitely a spot I will be back to when around the area. Oh yeah I had truffle monkey and black maple, both were professionally grown, trimmed and cured. Air tight sealed jar for the win. 6⭐️ out of 5

Went in to this dispensary today for the first time, and the male employee with dreads greeted me and began helping me out, but was extremely over eager and wouldn’t let me take the time to check everything out or ask questions. He kept interrupting and talking over me?! I literally couldn’t get a word in. Within 30 seconds of coming into the shop, this employee literally told me one of my medical conditions “isn’t real”, and even alluded to it being a conspiracy theory, while in the same breath asking me multiple times what the syndrome was called again because he had never actually heard of it…. I was trying to explain why this syndrome had me looking for CBD flower *as well as* cannabis, and he LAUGHED and said “I only sell real weed”…. The other man in the shop, who I assume is the owner, noticed I was clearly surprised and annoyed and had to jump in to actually help me with my purchase. The 5 minute interaction was so unbelievable and had me walking out never wanting to go there again. Also the bud they sold me “on sale” for $35/slice is not worth that price. What a bummer this whole experience was.

I love Emerald Rose Grows! They are always so friendly and available to chat about products. It's a laid back atmosphere and I never feel rushed. The flower is always top notch!!! When ever I'm in the area I have to make a stop and am never disappointed!

I normally have a really good experience here but yesterday was extremely disappointing. I had some friends visiting from Burlington and was showing them around Addison County and we stopped in for a pre-roll and other cannabis products for one of my friends. The gentleman behind the counter was very terse with us and seemed to want to get us out as fast as possible but was pretty nice to the older guys who were also there to make a purchase. We are all in our 30s. I stop in pretty much any time I am Bristol but maybe not after this. Vergennes has it's own dispensary now and the owners are extremely friendly and helpful. But all my other experiences at Emeraldrose with the other employee have been fine. I don't like to leave middling or negative reviews but it's really embarrassing and disappointing to be excited to show your friends places you really like only to have them treat you and your friends poorly.

Emerald Rose grows is a totally hip cool chill shop with excellent products for sale. The weed is superior and the ambience singular. They have gummies chocolate, tincture, pre-rolls, carts, flower, you name it.
