I have been coming to Dank's a long time due to their inventory and pricing. However, I have become extremely frustrated with their discount policies and inflexibility. When I went in today, I had placed an order on their website. I expected both items to be discounted 50% because that is what the website said. It said "*Website cart may not reflect the bundled price but it will be adjusted at time of payment." When I went in, I was told that I could only have the 40% off online orders because I ordered on the website and not the app so my order did not qualify. I got flustered and frustrated and just paid and left. I should have canceled the order right there. This is a stupid policy and NO WHERE on their website does it say that.

This review is mostly a shout out to Keaton! Tonight nearly every other employee was fairly new, so I definitely understand the slower moving, but with a line out the door Keaton was the only employee truly hustling. He was greeting nearly every customer, running between transactions, and still had the best attitude. For a Friday night I definitely think they could have used some more vetted employees - it was pretty clear that they were struggling. I worked here for years and a customer recognized me in line and asked me to help them out haha. I think that everyone was trying their best to get through the line, but Keaton definitely stood out as someone who truly was doing the most to make each transaction quick and efficient.

Easily the worst shopping experience I've ever had. Couldn't find something specific at my usual dispo, so I came here a few times... I regret it. Harsh lighting, annoying loud music, poorly arranged and overwhelming volume of product, a general feeling that no one - from customer to staff - wants to be here, staff who know nothing about the products and very little about weed in general, awkward lines, all of which lends to a feeling of rushing through the process of seeking medicine. I will go literally anywhere else. The way that stores like this survive is by maintaining such an overwhelmingly massive stock that they are able to leverage that stock to bully suppliers into working with them in volumes that prohibit those suppliers from making their products available elsewhere. They are also ripe with predatory contracting that claims exclusive distribution rights. They treat their employees with disdain, paying within cents of legislated minimums; they overwork and understaff; and they bully staff with inconsistent, unpredictable, and unreliable hours, maintaining weekly hours below a threshhold that would require them to pay for meaningful benefits. I consistently spend $5-8k per year on cannabis, and I will NEVER shop here again after the way I was treated on my last visit. Thankfully, the vendor right next door to this particular location has more consistent staffing and friendliness. But I admit, the bar is low. This whole industry is falling apart fast thanks to private equity and the legal architecture that Washington has set up in their favor. The products are getting worse, quality control is slipping, leading to inconsistency. Growers and refiners used to have a passion for good product, and now the "growers" are all absent, having turned their passion into profit seeking, and the laborers have no meaningful connection to just-another-exploitative-job. It's killing the medical and communal qualities that I love about weed. If you care about the welfare of people and life on this planet, please pay attention. Everything is connected.
