I was just here and this was probably the worst experience I have had at a dispensary so far. I came here looking for a specific weed because as a medical patient my main reason for smoking is because I’m epileptic. First off the hand off situation was stressful and the male budtender I had couldn’t inform me on any suggestions for epilepsy. I was also told I got a first time discount - the budtender also didn’t inform me until the end that discount didn’t stack. I could care less about that, it was the overall disorganization, lack of product knowledge, and a clear lack of training of staff on cannabis, terpenes, and medicinal benefits. This isn’t the budtenders fault but I think speaks to lack of education sunshine cannabis provides there workers, or a management system that does not enforce training materials be learned and integrated. The most I got from these bud tenders when I asked them a question about the quality was “well it’s Florida so all weed is dry”. I’m a medical patient at a medical dispensary I think all medical patients deserve a better experience. I left with a migraine. I feel bad for people with worse medical problems who go to this dispensary looking for therapeutic cannabis products. We all love weed - it’s the product knowledge and building trust with customers that builds business. These budtenders were pushing sales and that became evident as soon as I stepped foot in the door. I wasn’t treated like a patient I was treated like a human with a sales potential for the business. This takes the care element out of this, I understand it’s a business, but this business integrates care. Do better.

I’m not gonna lie, this place is super expensivez they don’t have good deals despite the “promos” they offer and I feel the budtenders don’t explain things well. I only come here if I have to because I work in the area. I’d recommend Trulieve or somewhere else for better pricing and better quality.

I visited Sunnyside for the first time today and had a great experience! The dispensary was clean, welcoming, and had a really comfortable atmosphere. Ariel and Andrew greeted me as soon as I walked in and made me feel right at home. Since it was my first visit, they took the time to answer my questions, offer helpful recommendations, and make sure I found products that fit what I was looking for. They also had some great sales going on, which was a nice bonus. I’ll definitely be back!
