Here’s a polished review that keeps your personality while making it easier to read and more impactful. I stopped by Chitiva in Lincoln Park on a Tuesday after grabbing tacos nearby, and I have to say—I was impressed. Walking into Chitiva felt like walking into a Toys “R” Us for cannabis enthusiasts. The selection was incredible. They had just about everything imaginable: flower, vapes, infused drinks, edibles, snacks, and so much more. There was something new to discover around every corner. We had no idea it was karaoke night until we got there, and I’m glad we stayed. Karaoke kicked off around 7:00 p.m., hosted by Bodega Kitty (L), whose energy, creativity, and welcoming spirit made everyone feel included. She created such a fun atmosphere. I came with my nephew Vic, who absolutely crushed “The Real Slim Shady,” and I had a great time recording his performance. We enjoyed drinks, snacks, waffle fries, and decided to finish the night with some ice cream. That’s when I realized—after reading the lid—that it contained 25mg. Let’s just say I was higher than I planned to be… in the best way possible. It was one of those unforgettable nights that had us laughing the entire time. The only reason this isn’t a perfect experience was how a simple checkout mistake was handled. A newer employee accidentally overcharged one of our transactions. These things happen. Since they couldn’t process a cash refund, they offered store credit. To make things easy, I simply asked if they could add extra milligrams to both of our drinks instead, and we happily moved on. What disappointed me wasn’t the mistake—it was watching management publicly blame and embarrass the new employee in front of customers. As a multi-business owner, I understand that new employees make mistakes. That’s part of training. What should never happen is throwing a team member under the bus in front of guests. It was uncomfortable to witness and completely unnecessary. My nephew and I spent the rest of the evening intentionally talking with the young associate to let him know it was okay, that we weren’t upset, and that we’d absolutely be back. Customer service is already difficult enough without feeling publicly embarrassed over an honest mistake. I hope management takes this as constructive feedback. Protect your employees while coaching them. Correct mistakes privately, celebrate successes publicly. A little grace goes a long way. That said, this is still a place I plan to visit again. Between the incredible product selection, great food and drinks, board games, karaoke nights, and the welcoming community, Chitiva offers a genuinely unique experience. If you’re looking for something fun to do on a Tuesday night in Lincoln Park, Chitiva is definitely worth checking out.

Came in yesterday evening and ordered only 10mg in a slushy, Im personally very used to 10mg but based on the effects there had to have been WAY MORE put in the drink, don’t know exactly what went wrong but I was trying to have what’s consistently a very mild and functional dose and that is not at all what I got. Felt like I got 100mg and I was having a bad time at an obligation and really embarrassed myself. Do not recommend and it feels very misleading that they specifically offer very customizable dosing just to get way more than you were bargaining for/expecting. Honest mistakes happen and I get that, but I feel there can be some change in the process to prevent something like this from happening again

I came all the way from Aurora. Just to see a sign saying they will be back in 10 mins. I parked really far and it's raining. Really disappointed. I waited and nobody came. I will never come back here.
