(UPDATE) I got in touch with someone from Bowdega and they were kind enough to replace the ounce I got with a new, top shelf ounce, of my choice. They even through in a couple prerolls for the trouble. Therefore I’m giving them 5 stars and highly recommending them to anyone looking for a dispensary with integrity that appreciates their customers. First time customer and I was initially excited to try Bowdega. I ordered online for curbside pickup. I’m partial to Localgrove products and saw they had a strain I never tried before called Gushers. It was labeled as a “new drop” and was only $130/oz. So, I ordered an ounce of it. I get home and see that it was harvested 12/01/25. That’s hardly “new”. Even if it’s new to Bowdega it’s still misleading. I try to never buy flower that’s more than 3 months past harvest because I feel you lose a lot of the medicinal terps and flavor. Which proved to be true after trying the Gushers. However, it smokes well and is still potent. It’s just light on flavor but as I said previously, it was discounted to 130/oz. So I’m a little disappointed and feel a bit misled but all was not lost. The people there were friendly and curbside was quick and easy. Also, I’m not without blame, I should’ve checked the harvest date before I paid. So I feel three stars is fair and maybe I’ll try them again someday.
