- Prices come from live dispensary menus we track, aggregated nightly into city and state rollups. Only priced, in-stock items with a known package size count toward per-gram figures.
- State figures: average and median flower price per gram, plus average eighth (3.5g) and ounce (28g) listing prices.
- National figures are pooled averages: each state's average weighted by its number of listings, which equals the average over every listing in the index.
- Sample behind this edition: 276,713 flower listings (114,109 eighths, 26,920 ounces) at 1,622 dispensaries in 468 cities.
- Coverage: Michigan, California, New York, Florida. States without enough real price data are left out rather than estimated.
- Listing prices are shelf prices before tax and may include current deals. Data refreshed between September 2026 and October 2026.
