I came in to try the famous Madison Square Gumbo, and I’m so glad I did! Lish provided amazing customer service and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. The service was friendly, welcoming, and truly made my visit memorable. The food was delicious, but the excellent service is what really stood out. Thank you, Lish, for making my experience so enjoyable — I’ll definitely be back!

I visited the Cookies Sanford location and had a pretty negative experience. This wasn’t my first time dealing with this manager. I’ve been in twice before and got the same abrasive, unhelpful vibe each time, like she was rushing me to get me out. This last visit, she was rude and unprofessional right off the jump. She said she couldn’t help with my Cookies account or password reset because it’s handled through a third party and she doesn’t even have a Cookies account herself. She told me I’d have to find the customer service phone number on the Cookies website and call them directly. When I asked where to find it, she said it only shows store-specific numbers, not a general support line. When I asked about a $10 off coupon for a $75 purchase, she didn’t know if it was valid and made me go to my car to check. Later, after I forgot my debit card and had to step out again, I overheard her tell a coworker I was ‘wasting her time.’ I apologized, and she joked about it, but the tone felt off. The next day I went back to the Sanford location, expecting to see her and express my concerns, but she wasn’t there. Two other managers were there, and when I described her, they confirmed she is a manager at that store. That’s very unprofessional for a manager to act that way. I’m already suffering from high anxiety as it is, and she made me extremely anxious and nervous. I called the Lee Road Orlando location afterward and spoke with Jasmine, who was kind and confirmed the coupon was still good through the end of the month. She also apologized for how the Sanford staff handled the coupon, saying anyone there could have answered it right away without making me go to my car since it was given out the week before. She suggested I leave this review so it reaches the right people. Overall, the Sanford staff’s attitude made what should have been a simple visit stressful. I live in Sanford, so this is my closest location.
