  Great option to keep in your repertoire of local places! Very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating staff. Small location, but cozy, clean, and conveniently close to the City Hall Patco station. They also have a nice selection and incentives to continue to shop there, which I will be doing.

  Absolutely bomb prices are good welcome discount 15 percent sweet woman who help you if u needed help decided what to get she's very good at what she does and the guy is also very sweet shop!   I was really looking forward to checking out Loudhouse Smoke Shop in Camden after seeing all the photos online. Their pictures across multiple pages make it look like they have a traditional strain board setup with different strains listed alongside prices for various quantities—3.5g, 7g, half ounces, ounces, etc. As someone coming from NYC and currently living in Philly, where options are pretty limited, this looked exactly like the type of spot I was hoping to find. When I walked in, I immediately saw the same chalkboard-style display on the wall with strains and prices clearly listed next to them. There were prices like $25 eighths, $30 eighths, $70 quarters, $100+ half ounces, and ounce pricing as well. The board looked organized, professional, and gave off old-school smoke shop vibes. Naturally, I assumed those were the products and prices available for purchase. Unfortunately, that's where the disappointment started. The employee behind the counter was on her phone when I walked in. Normally I wouldn't care, but I was literally the only customer in the store at the time. She didn't acknowledge me until I walked right up to the counter. When I asked about the strains and prices displayed on the wall, she seemed completely confused. I actually had to point directly at the board and explain what I was asking about, following the strain names over to the listed prices and asking if those were the actual prices for those strains. Her response was basically that they don't really pay attention to the board and instead go by whatever is listed on the website. She then directed me to a tablet and had me scroll through products there. The whole experience completely changed the vibe of the store. What initially felt like a classic, straightforward smoke shop quickly turned into a generic, overly commercialized, tablet-based shopping experience. I came in expecting to browse strains and prices like the store advertises and displays, not stand there swiping through a screen like I'm ordering fast food. The most frustrating part was that many of the lower-priced options displayed on the wall didn't appear to be available on the tablet at all. The pricing I ended up seeing was significantly higher than what I expected based on both the photos and the in-store display. I eventually bought an eighth that came out to over $40 after tax because it was one of the better options available in that price range. To make matters worse, I was told I qualified for a first-time customer discount. I figured that would at least help offset some of the higher-than-expected prices. However, after I had already selected and was seconds from about to pay, I was informed that the discount didn't apply because the eighth I purchased was already marked down. It would've been nice to know that before checkout instead of after the transaction was completed. The employee then told me I'd still be able to use my first-time discount "next time." After everything else, I just said "oh, okay" and walked out with my taxed $40+ eighth. It felt like another example of poor communication and a lack of transparency. Overall, the store looks nice, and the strain board gives a great first impression, but the advertising and in-store presentation feel misleading. If the chalkboard strains and prices aren't actually what customers can buy, they shouldn't be displayed in a way that suggests they are. The staff seemed unfamiliar with their own pricing display, the advertised prices didn't match what was actually available, the shopping experience felt disorganized, and the discount situation only added to the frustration. Maybe growing up in NYC spoiled me, but when I see strains listed with quantities and prices both online and on a giant board in the store, I expect those prices to actually mean something. Instead, what looked like an old-school, customer-friendly smoke shop turned out to be a confusing, overpriced, corporate-style experience that fell far short of expectations.
