Traveling down state from Aroostook County when my car ate my cart. Quickly googled what was recreational in Bangor and this place pulled up first, I loved that I could see their menu online so I knew what I'd want when I walked in. Both staff members were very friendly

I havent tried the product yet. The prices were just decent, nothing special and no deals to bring me right back here. The bud tender was nice enough but a few things attributed to the lower star rating: he did not tell me about the rewards program prior to my purchase so when I noticed/asked about it after I paid, he said "oh yep you can still sign up but unfortunately no credit for the purchase you made now, before you were signed up." I also saw a sign about spinning their wheel for prizes. I asked him if that is still a thing and he said "oh yep!" *pulls out wheel* "but since I already rang you up, ill just give you a free lighter." I asked does that mean I dont get to actually spin the wheel for my purchase? And he replied "you can spin it for fun if you want but I already gave you a free lighter."

Disposable was burnt out of the box, $27 wasted. Won't make that mistake again. Bud tender was knowledgeable and helpful though.

My first visit will be my last, the person working I believe was Cameron, he was monotone, asked me how my day was, gave a short response in response to myself, and then immediately asked for Photo ID, while I understand everyone needs to be carded. There are friendlier more welcoming ways to ask, or introduce someone their first time in as a buying customer. I wasn't notified about the points system, which a friend informed me of AFTER my visit. I actively watched another customer get told you were out of stock for an edible, and I then asked for that flavor and when it would be back in stock. Cameron then looked in the "system" as he referred to it, and had some in stock. So not sure why certain customers aren't being sold items, or told you're out, but others are. I visited with a friend a while back and didn't purchase anything, but was met by a very friendly guy dressed in all SpongeBob. I think he said his name was JR, the BudTenders should take the same approach as he did. He was welcoming and friendly from the start, very informed on product, and genuinely made me feel at home.
